How do we work on Spanish during immersion?

Spanish activities on the road

We won’t have classroom lessons. We’ll work through activities and interactive sessions designed to be done during the days. Activities like hiking, cultural visits which focus on rural trades and knowledge, will give us the opportunity to interact with local people, improve both listening and speaking skills, expand vocabulary, and more.

Small groups

The Spanish language immersion program with hiking is designed for a maximum of 7 students, making it a unique and personalized experience. Small groups transform learning into a more comfortable and engaging experience, where you feel safe, build confidence, and enjoy the process in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Interaction with local people

We have official mountain guides for hiking routes and local guides to help you discover villages and rural tourism activities. It’s another opportunity to practice and improve your Spanish while experiencing firsthand the natural and cultural richness of the Sierra de las Nieves National Park.

All day in Spanish

We maintain our commitment to speaking only Spanish throughout the week, just as we do in our total immersion program at the teacher’s home. We will share breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, in addition to all the Spanish activities and hiking, creating hundreds of opportunities to continue practicing Spanish.

Two Spanish teachers

We are two qualified and experienced Spanish teachers, Estefanía and Elisabeth. We will accompany you throughout your Spanish and hiking trip in Málaga. There will always be a good time to resolve doubts, ask questions, and chat amicably, just as we do in our immersion program at Casa Agualivar.

Still with doubts?

If you don’t know us, that’s normal, so we invite you to read the opinions of other students who have gone through our Spanish immersion program at our house.
