Cancellation Terms & Conditions SPANISH AND HIKING

These are the general terms and conditions of Agualivar Spanish School S.L., with Tax Identification Number (CIF) B93595254, registered in the Mercantile Registry on February 5, 2018, and having its registered office at “Las Chorreras 73, Lagos-29760, Málaga, Spain.”

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE:

This course is a unique Spanish immersion experience in the heart of nature, combining hiking with activities in Spanish that may include visits to villages in the Sierra, olive oil tourism, craft workshops, and similar experiences. It takes place on specific dates, with small groups of a maximum of 5 students and 2 teachers, in order to ensure the use of Spanish as the only language of communication and learning throughout the immersion.

MINIMUM GROUP SIZE:

The course requires a minimum of 4 participants.

If this number is not reached:
• The immersion course will be cancelled.
• A full refund will be issued.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL:

According to European regulations, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to leisure activities with a specific date.

By booking, you accept this condition.

PARTICIPANT CANCELLATIONS:

As this is an experience with very limited places and fixed dates:

  • Registration fees are non-refundable.
    • It is not possible to change the date or transfer the booking to another program.
    • If a participant fails to arrive at the meeting point at the specified time on the start day, they will be responsible for arranging their own transport to the immersion location, with no right to claim reimbursement for unused transport services.
    • In the event of injury or inability to participate in any of the activities detailed in the program, no refund can be claimed for the unused activities.

We recommend taking out travel insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances.

CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS ON OUR PART:

If, due to exceptional circumstances (weather conditions, force majeure, etc.), we are unable to start or carry out the immersion experience:

  • We will offer you an alternative, or
    • A refund for the unused services that are eligible for cancellation.

If weather conditions prevent us from carrying out the hiking activities once at the immersion location, we will offer alternative activities such as olive oil tourism, museum visits, winery visits, traditional cooking activities with local people, or craft workshops.

DATA PROTECTION:

Your personal data will be treated confidentially and used only for course management purposes.

USE OF IMAGES AND AUDIOVISUAL MATERIAL:

During the experience, photographs and video recordings may be taken for promotional and commercial purposes. By participating in the course, you authorize the organization to use your image and/or voice in such materials for publication on the website, social media, and other communication channels. This use will always be respectful and not harmful to your personal image. If you prefer not to appear in this type of content, you must inform the organization in writing in advance.
