Full Immersion Homestay
COURSE DESCRIPTION: SPANISH FULL IMMERSION HOMESTAY
Sunday: Arriving day. After 5 p.m. our doors are open to you. Sunday is a day to relax and take a break from your trip, to get to know the family, the house… We provide you the schedule for the week, have dinner and go to bed to rest and gather strength for the week to come.
8:30 – 9:15: We usually have breakfast between 8:30 and 9:15h.
9:30 – 12:45: Lessons start at 9:30 until 11:00h. We take a short break -15 minutes more or less- and then, we continue with another lesson from 11:15 to 12:45h.
13:00 – 14:00: It is time to prepare the lunch. You can help us to prepare the lunch, set the table or simply chat with us while we prepare everything. This way you keep improving your listening and speaking skills and we can learn a lot from each other about a lot of different things! 🙂 But, if you are feeling tired, you can go to the pool, the gardens…and take a break while the lunch is ready.
14:00 – 15:30: Lunch time is about 14:00h. Although the times are approximate.
15:30 – 17:00: After lunch, you have time to relax.
17:00 – 19:00: Three days a week, we organice workshops, activities and a trip to Frigiliana or Nerja. This activities are always with your teachers, speaking Spanish and learning about cultural aspects of Analucía and Spain. The others two days, you have free time to explore by yourself or rest at home with us and take part in our daily life.
Time to prepare the dinner. Just as lunch, you can help us to prepare everything or you can have free time!
20:30 – 22:00: Dinner time. Times are approximate. Take in account that in Spain usually people have dinner later than in another countries. Our family try to find a balance between our times and your times to eat. But this depend on the season and the day.
After the dinner, we sometimes play some games as “Rummy”, “Spanish Banana Grams” or “Tabú”. Always is Spanish! 🙂 Do you join us?
It is time to leave (just in case you have enrol in only one week immersion). It is needed to leave home before noon.
Alternatively, if you have booked more than one week immersion, you can take advantage of your free time during the weekend:
– Staying at home with us, taking part in our daily life.
– Exploring Málaga by yourself. We will provide you tips and recommendations.
FULL SPANISH IMMERSION INCLUDES:
- 15h Spanish lessons per week in the mornings
- Small group: 4 students as maximum
- +10 hours of Spanish a day (living with your teachers and attending activities)
- Materials and tuition
- 2 afternoon workshops. Always with your teachers and in Spanish!
- One trip is included to Frigiliana or Nerja.
- Individual assessment at the start of the course
- Full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner shared with our family. Healthy and Mediterranean food.
- Accommodation in our house. A fantastic Beachfront Villa. With PRIVATE bathroom.
- Transfer from the local bus station (Lagos)
- 24 hour support from Agualivar Spanish School staff

RESERVATIONS & REFUNDSHOW MUCH AND HOW LONG ARE THE COURSES?
All the prices at our website are per week. However, students can book the number of weeks they wish.
HOW TO RESERVE?
A deposit of 180€ should be paid on reserving a course (not for indididual lessons and Spanish program for residents). The course fee is payable in full no less than four weeks before the start date of the course. We reserve the right to cancel any course that has not been paid.
HOW DO I GET A REFUND?
The deposit fee (180€) will not be refund in any case.
In case of cancellations, we will refund you the following amounts depending on the dates:
100% of the total amount (except the deposit) before 4 weeks of the starting date.
20% of the total amount (except the deposit) between 29 and 15 days before the starting date.
No refund shall be granted in the two weeks prior to the start of the course.
I LIVE IN SPAIN AND WOULD LIKE TO IMPROVE MY SPANISH, CAN I ATTEND YOUR SCHOOL?
We have a Spanish program for residents. All the material is included and we always have coffe and tea for you! ;)
A eight hours pack per person is needed to book this program.
You have 90 days to complete your 8 lessons. It is needed to attend 2 hours a week as minimum.
Groups are up to 4 people with the same level.
Payment is required in advance.
HOW DO I REDEEM A COUPON?
To redeem a coupon, you only have to enter the code in the field indicated when completing your purchase.

TRAVEL INSURANCE COVERAGE: Agualivar Spanish School reccommends all students to have a medical and personal liability insurance coverage.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILM MATERIAL: By accepting Agualivar Spanish School terms and conditions, the student accepts that Agualivar Spanish School freely can use this material, that has been created by Agualivar's staff without asking further approval from the student.
LIABILITY AND FORCE MAJEURE: Agualivar Spanish School will not be liable or responsible for any loss, damage, inconvenience, delay in performance, or failure to perform in connection with the provision of any goods or services due to causes beyond Agualivar’s reasonable control, including but not limited to force majeure, fire, natural disaster, acts of government, failure of suppliers or subcontractors, labor disputes or civil unrest, criminal, terrorist or threatened terrorist activities of any kind, public health emergencies, any negligent or willful act or failure to act by any third party, or any other cause beyond the direct control of Agualivar Spanish School. These conditions do not affect your rights as defined by the consumer protection laws in your host country.
Making CoursesIF MY FLIGHT ARRIVES BEFORE THE STARTING DATE, WHAT OPTIONS HAVE I?
You can stay with us and start your Spanish immersion. You only have to reserve the number of nights you need.
ARE THE IMMERSION COURSES SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS?
Our experience says yes. We adapt and customize each immersion course for every student and work only with very small groups. This is our advantage, we are always with the students, 24 hours a day. And we become to know better the needs of our students and in consequence we usually know better how to help them.
WILL I HAVE SPARE TIME?
Yes, absolutely. But only if you want. Our immersion programs are designed to take advantage of your time. Our family and us, the teachers, live together with you, and it is up to you to participate in all the activities that we can organize every day. If you prefer going to the beach, sunbathing or going to visit some place by yourself, we will be more than happy to help and give you all the information you could need.
I HAVE SOME ALLERGICS... IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH THE FOOD?
Of course not, tell us what is your need and we will try to make tastefull and nice meals every day for you.
HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE SCHOOL?
Getting from the Málaga Airport:
Although we can go and pick you up at the Airport, there are other options and cheaper. For that reason, we would like to share with you the best way to arrive at our school. :D
Option 1: Bus A Express. This bus goes from the airport to Málaga bus station. They departures from Terminal 3 each 25 or 30 minutes. The travel lasts about 15 minutes and it costs 2€. Once in the bus station, buy a ticket (Alsa company) to Lagos. This trip takes about 55 minutes and it costs 3,35€. We will pick you up at Lagos bus stop! :D
Option 2: Shared bus to Caleta de Vélez (a village near our school): It is a service offered from Málaga Airport Website. You can reserve it online. The trip takes about 1h and 10 minutes. It costs 25,02€ per person. We will pick you up at Caleta de Vélez without problems.
